Leigh Cordetti
Paralegal

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a minor in the History of Art, Leigh found herself at the Law Firm of Kitrick, Lewis & Harris Co., L.P.A. in the Fall of 2009. She channeled her positive, creative energy and developed new marketing strategies and paperless procedures for the firm. For instance, along with founder and president Mark Kitrick, Leigh advanced the firm’s social media presence and instituted the
legal blog. Leigh also helped actualize KLH’s new quarterly publication,
The Safety Report, an informative magazine that focuses on preventative measures we can all take to better protect our homes and families. Leigh then advanced to become a paralegal, where she now oversees the firm’s cases.
Ashley Maloon
Paralegal

Ashley is a member of the
Kitrick, Lewis & Harris, Co. L.P.A. Mega Team of paralegals. She started with the firm in June 2011. For the previous three years, she was the Assistant General Manager of Brother’s Bar and Grill. Notably, she was the company’s first female manager in the country. Ashley graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Special Education. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys entertaining friends and family, painting, and spending time with her Great Dane, Newman.
Stacey Thomas
Paralegal

Stacey joined the
Kitrick, Lewis & Harris, Co. L.P.A. team in early 2011 and became a key point person for clients as they entered our office. Stacey then advanced to become one of our firm’s paralegals. Stacey joined KLH after almost ten years as a retail manager for several high-grossing retail stores. After excelling in this highly competitive atmosphere, she decided to join our family-style firm where she could have more personal, daily interactions with clients, positively affecting their lives during difficult times. When not enjoying outside activities with her partner, Erick, and their two young sons, Stacey can be found caring for her various household pets.
Sarah Cossin
Firm Liaison

Sarah recently relocated to Columbus from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she, her husband, Joe, and their son, Zephyr, were stationed with the 82nd Airborne Division. Prior to living in North Carolina, Sarah attended Marshall University in her home state of West Virginia, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English in May of 2009. Following her husband’s transition from Army life, Sarah sought a company where she could build a career and utilize her skills in administrative assistance, communication and writing. At Kitrick, Lewis & Harris Co., L.P.A., Sarah acts as the firm’s liaison where she coordinates scheduling, acts as the first point of contact for visitors and assists clients and fellow attorneys.
Melinda Howells
C.F.O., H.R. Director

Melinda’s career with the firm began in April of 2006 when she began handling firm finances. With her invaluable skills and attention to detail, she became C.F.O. and has recently expanded her job title to include H.R. Director. Prior to joining the K.L.H. team, Melinda devoted over twenty years working in association management with various companies – from small, family operations to multi-million dollar, international corporations. With her husband, Randy, she has one daughter, who practices Child Psychology in Columbus. In her spare time, Melinda enjoys reading and gardening. She is also an avid traveler and has journeyed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Central America and South Africa.
Steve Whetstone
Law Clerk

Steve joined KLH in the fall of 2011. He did his undergraduate work at Otterbein College, completing a degree in Political Science, magna cum laude. As fate would have it, Steve met KLH Partner and Law Professor Mark Lewis at Capital University Law School as a student in Mark’s Law and Literature course. Steve received various awards and scholarships at Capital, earning fourteen CALI Awards in Excellence, which are given to the student with the highest grade in each course. Steve was the second student in Capital Law’s history to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout law school, being the first full time day student to graduate with a perfect GPA. He was Capital’s 2011 valedictorian, crediting a supportive family and a strong work ethic for his success. In his spare time, Steve likes to ride his Harley Davidson with his fiance, Trisha, on the back. Together, they also enjoy bowling, playing poker, and wake-boarding back at Steve’s home town of Thornville on Buckeye Lake.
