Sean Harris practices exclusively in the areas of plaintiff’s wrongful death, product liability, and personal injury litigation. He is rated “AV” by Martindale Hubble, is listed in Best Lawyers in America, and in the Top 100 in Ohio and Top 50 for Columbus in SuperLawyers. Following in the footsteps of both his father (Jay Harris) and law partner (Mark Kitrick), Sean is a Past President of the Ohio Association for Justice – the statewide trial lawyers organization dedicated to preserving the 7th Amendment. He is also the host of OAJ’s podcast, Civilly Speaking. Sean agrees with Thomas Jefferson that “… [trial by jury is] the only anchor yet imagined by man, by which a government can be held to the principles of its constitution.”

Sean earned his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law, where he was a finalist in the ATLA (AAJ) Trial Advocacy Competition. He also earned the CALI Award in Trial Practice. During law school, he clerked for the firm of Frank A. Ray Co., L.P.A.

Before law school, Sean graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a triple major in Philosophy, Geography, and Environmental Studies. He was awarded the Outstanding Student Leader Award, the Lloyd D. Easton Award for Excellence in Philosophy, and Robert E. Shanklin Prize for the Outstanding Geography Major. While in college, Sean was a member of OWU’s comedy improv troupe and hosted a radio show on the college radio station, WSLN. He currently serves on the Alumni Board of Trustees of Ohio Wesleyan University.

Sean is also a private pilot and enjoys woodworking, whenever time allows.
